Hi, I'm Magalie Chetrit, a web developer human based in New Jersey. I used to be a web developer, but I stopped. The latest development in AI sort of took the fun out of it for me. Read why, here.

I am now using this site to blog about tech and tech adjacent topics. This site is a lite site on purpose. I enjoy figuring out how to make things efficient and performant and still provide a great user experience.

I'm a wife and mother of two, living in New Jersey. I like a lot of things:

• Cooking and cookbooks
• Reading and books (mostly fiction, but also some non-fiction)
• Writing and journaling - I have a ton of notebooks filled up
• Surfing
• Animals and nature
• TV Shows from the 80's, 90's and early 2000's

I don't have time to track you, I can't even keep up with my own life at times. Should you care to email me, you'll be emailing to an email address hosted by Proton which is fully encrypted.

This website is made in Eleventy, no CMS. I have used AI in the past to help me develop this website, but I have stopped doing that. So most of this site is built by a human. Hosting is by Netlify.
